I could see that most of them saying that page rank will be increased by some means. But the real thing is that Page rank does not exists. Google has not updated its page rank yet. Page rank does not help in ranking the website on top of Google. Even the website with PR 0 ranks in top when compare to the website which has good PR. Don't focus on PR, just try to add quality and fresh content day by day to see drastic improvement in the keyword and the website rankings.
