Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning (see policing below). #
Members should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. #
Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Please use the “post report” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned. #
Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning. #
Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc. Users linking to or asking for information on warez, crackz, etc. or re-printing material without permission will receive a warning and their post will be removed.#
Members are asked only to post in English, as this is an English speaking community. Localised support is available at the international support sites. #
Members should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline ([IMG][/IMG]) image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed

This page includes rules and guidelines for using the Mozilla forums. See also our Legal Notices. We will assume good faith when dealing with violations; we will only warn or ban users who repeatedly or blatantly violate the rules.

ntroduction. Through the website Watchuseek.com we offer you a wide variety of watch related forums. Please feel free to read all messages posted there. Posting messages and participating in any of the discussions however requires your free registration. Please note that by accessing any of the forums or registering at Watchuseek, you are bound by our Forum Rules and Guidelines, which apply in addition to the general User Terms and Privacy Policy.

The Forum Rules and Guidelines are intended to help foster friendly, respectful and pleasant interaction. Therefore you are required to abide by these rules. Also, please note that individual forums may apply additional specific rules (in sticky threads). If you do not agree with any of the contents thereof, then please do not use our website, nor the forums.

    1. Members must limit their registration to one account. Multiple accounts can be removed without notice.

    2. Members will be kind and courteous, and respectful to other members and the moderators. No direct or indirect personal attacks or insults of any kind will be allowed. Posts which antagonize, belittle or humiliate other members and/or the moderators will not be tolerated, nor will racism, sexism, bigotry or foul language.

Members who have personal issues with other members and moderators must resolve their differences outside the forum. Watchuseek policy is not to discuss issues with other forums.

    3. Private messages, along with other private correspondence, are not to be posted on the open forum without the permission of their original authors. If someone is concerned about the content of a PM that they receive, they should report it to the moderators who will consider what action is to be taken.

    4. No sales posts or “Want to Buy / Trade” posts of any kind. All such posts will be immediately deleted. There are Sales Corners at Watchuseek for this express purpose. If you have a special offer you would like to make directly to forum members, email the moderator(s) first to discuss it.

By describing a sales transaction as a “gift” to avoid legitimate fees (i.e. Paypal), violates WUS rules and is subject to thread deletion or account suspension.

    5. No posts promoting raffles, auctions, surveys, contests, coupons, marketing campaigns or related activities will be allowed without prior approval by Watchuseek. All non-sponsors who wish to make posts of this nature should contact Ernie Romers or a forum moderator.

    6. Linking to live auctions is permitted for discussion purposes only. Links to incorrect, misleading or fraudulent auctions are also permitted, provided that the sole intention is to warn other members. Links posted by the seller will be treated as sales posts and immediately deleted. There is a special eBay forum to announce your eBay auctions.

    7. Please limit off-topic posts, and mark them clearly as such (“OT” in the subject line, and/or the OT or coffee cup icon). Please do not initiate or participate in political or religious debates. Also, consider whether WatchUseek’s Public Forum or The Café might be a more appropriate place for your post.

Speed posting with the aim of reaching 100 posts with little additional contribution to the forum will result in access to the Sales Corner being removed. Superfluous posts will be regarded as spam and deleted. What constitutes speed posting is at the discretion of the Watchuseek Admins and Moderating team.

Please Read the Forum Rules before Posting!

The forums are a place where people can interact and have discussions about different topics. We ask that you follow these guidelines to ensure that the forums have some productive conversation. These rules and guidelines are enforced by administrators and moderators, and at their discretion they may delete posts without warning that do not comply. Also, failure to comply with these rules or our Terms and Conditions and Rules of Conduct may result in a ban from the forums or the entire site.

    ---

    - This is an English website, all forum posts must be written in English -- Any thread topics or replies written in a language other than English may be removed without notice. This is mainly because we cannot moderate languages we do not understand.

    - No "flaming" or "badgering" -- writing hostile or insulting messages aimed at other users for their views, comments, status as a user on the site, or any other reason. You can disagree with someone's views and still be polite about it.

    - No "trolling" -- posting controversial (sometimes off-topic) messages with the intent of baiting other users to reply. Also, please do not feed trolls.

    - No "spamming" -- No advertisements, or referral links to other services. We also classify "spam" as short replies (usually fewer than 7 words) which do not contribute to a forum thread in a positive manner. Some forum threads expect short messages (like some forum games), but otherwise short messages are highly discouraged. Do not post for the sake of forum post count. Your posts will be removed if we see you posting unhelpful or non-contributing messages to our site.

    - No "necro" behavior -- posting replies on very old (dead) threads which have not been locked. We only allow "necro" replies in VERY rare circumstances, all other cases will find your reply removed. If you feel strongly enough about posting a reply, please discuss with a Moderator whether to start a new thread of discussion.

    - No discussions of software piracy, hacking, illegal material. -- Linking to these activities will not be tolerated.

    - Do not post material that is hateful or mean towards race, religion, sex, or any other offensive nature. You can debate religion and politics in the WEPR forum, but you can do so WITHOUT being mean or hateful about it.

    - Do not post lewd or offensive content, or links to lewd or offensive content. Keep everything Safe for Work, and remember that kids visit the website.

    - No excessive swearing or language. If you're that angry about something, take a break from the forums for a while, or confront the other user directly instead of in the forums. Also, do not attempt to use any means to bypass our profanity filter, such as misspelling a cuss word, or using punctuation or spaces. We are much more likely to ban users for this behavior than those who let the profanity filter replace cuss words with *'s instead. Still, excessive swearing can get you in trouble too, so keep it clean.

    - No posting of any text which bypasses our profanity filters by purposely misspelling, using letter/symbol substitutions or any other means to bypass our censoring. You will only get one warning for this, then you will be banned from the site.

    - Please do not "hijack" a forum thread by changing the subject. If you want to change the subject, please start a new message thread. There is a thread in the Tavern ("This thread is about ...") which is run by a moderator, which we allow sudden subject changes. Otherwise, we expect new subjects to be in a new message thread.

    - Do not complain about getting banned, and do not make another account to circumvent a ban. Do not complain about other users being banned, in the forums or on profile pages of other users.

    - Do not complain if a moderator removes a message you posted. We trust our moderators, and if they've removed a message, they had a good reason.

    - Users who create alternate accounts for multiplayer games are not permitted to post in the forums. No exceptions. Posts will be removed without notice. These alternate accounts are also prohibited from posting comments on game pages or on other user profiles. Please use your main account for this activity.

    - Do not post any personal information about you or anyone else. We don't want to know your street address. If you want to post a photo of yourself, please post it in the photo thread in the Tavern.

    - Turn off your caps lock, do not use excessive ALL CAPS in your posts.

    - Do not copy or plagiarize comments.

    - Do not post messages containing images of typed text, especially in an alternate color. This confuses other members who may think you have some special authority, which is against our Terms and Conditions. It also defeats our search engine, which cannot read your message text.

    ---

If you have any questions about these rules, you may contact a moderator. You can also contact us through the help page, or you may contact Ferret directly via Email at Ferret [at] armorgames.com. Please be polite!
