48-14 MultiMedia Management, a web hosting company, will change its name to WPCycle effective March 30th, 2016.

The name change is part of a re-branding initiative to better align the Company’s name with its future strategy and goals, and also follows the growing trend of customers in need of fast and secured Managed WordPress Web Hosting.

"48-14 did not leave the building, ride off into the sunset, or in some cases, hide behind a new name due to legal issues or from being sold," said Michael Small, Founder and Executive Director of WPCycle. "We’re still here. The WPCycle name is a result of a direction change. As much as we love the 48-14 name, it was not search engine friendly, especially in a market where other companies are offering the same or similar services".

The new company name will also put forth a few changes. WPCyle will only provide Managed WordPress Web Hosting through Managed Virtual Private Servers (VPS), or Managed Dedicated Servers. All accounts will use SSD drives, and utilize PHP7, Server-Side Caching, daily Malware scans, and daily Amazon S3 backups. Along with the company name change, WPCycle introduces a new company website wpcycle.com with the latest news and tips related to WordPress.

Before WPCycle, 48-14 started as a multimedia management company in 2008, and only provided web hosting for its clients, but later extended those service to the general public in 2011. Over the years, services were narrowed down to just providing WordPress Web Hosting, and has lead to the new name of WPCycle in 2016.

"The 48-14 name will be used for other ventures, but the essence of doing more that what others offer 24/7 will still be there."

Kind regards,

Michael Small
