Technology professionals look for reliability, security, and the flexibility to create the features they want without weighty features they don’t need. They require a platform with a strong architecture, integrating with third-party applications. Drupal provides all this and more, conforming to their technical and business requirements, not the other way around.

Free web application that can be used for monitoring, maintaining and control website features. Main things here are modules and themes written in php and css code respectively. As its open source you can always download modules and themes that you like more. That's my short resume.

Drupal is a popular open-source content management system written in PHP. Having been created in the early 2000s by a Belgian student, it now powers some of the most prominent websites on the web (WhiteHouse.gov, Weather.com, etc.). It is often regarded as a competitor of CMSs such as WordPress and Joomla.

One of the most important components of the Drupal project is its community of supporters (contributors, developers, evangelists, business owners, etc.). Prominent within this community stands the Drupal Association, responsible for "fostering and supporting the Drupal software project, the community and its growth".
