You can find a lot of tips and articles concerning the PR values given to the websites by Google. There are a lot of arguments about its effectiveness in rankings nowadays but it is not as important as in the past when it comes to start working on websites SEO.

Page rank that is SE term. Better have high rankings then high PR

Pagerank is an way to measure the site. google ranks each page based on its content and gives the rating like 3 out of 10 etc. High pr sites carries much weight age in seo, but rankings are more important than these pagerank.

I agree with Server Point. We should concentrate with SERP not PR.
But many people focus in PR. Google give honor to our site with PR.

Google no longer consider Pagerank as search engine ranking factor, they check Page & Domain Authority nowadays.

Google page rank is no more important today as they have stopped updating their page rank algorithm and is more concentrated in SERPs.
