    Server related question

I currently have a subdomain website hosted by another ISP. What exactly would I need to do to have a new domain registered and forwarded to that site? If I buy the domain in GlobalFront's site, would I still have to contact my existing ISP for anything related to the new domain?

Would you mind please add more details here? It is a bit unclear from your request what exactly you need. Perhaps 301 redirect will work. But more details are needed to recommend something exact

Uhh, just register the domain name with a registration company - and do what you normally would which is point it to your host. But yes you would then want to speak to your current host to see if you can d more than one domain on your account or if you need another.

All you need to do is register the domain, find out your current ISP's nameservers and enter those nameserver in your newly registered domain name.

Register new domain name and then set 301 redirect for it.

You need not contact the existing ISP, register the domain and redirect it to the previous one.

You are right. Also shify from ISP to the web hosting provider and domain name registrar

This information is very helpful ! Sometimes I like to monitor the mail logs to see what is going on and to try and coax ISPs to not block or bounce our mail too. I am afraid to be block or bounce my mail.

When I am using WebLogic Server on Solaris and try to run my application, I get a "NoClassDefFound" error, although the class causing the error does exist and is in the right directory. In fact, there are other classes in the same directory that are getting loaded. I also get a "Too many open files" error.

It is simply necessary to register the domain in an apt manner. It is necessary to locate the current ISP’s name servers and submit values in domain name.
