While only a Linux host only and used to Cpanel I went to look at this, but really couldn't find much info about the software itself. Would be interested in seeing some actually screen shots and demo so to recommend to other users if it looks good.

Why don't more businesses take advantage of open source software? Linux, or even apps such as open office would cut costs tremendously.

Because they have millions or even billions and they don't even care buying those expensive software. And of course the sense of being secured if they use licensed software.

New Open Source Windows Hosting control panel

If your application is web based ASP or ASP.Net application any windows host will work. If its a desktop software VB or something like that shared hosting is out of question.

Windows based application wont run on Linux/Mac.

A lot of customers expect either cpanel or plesk (and may prefer one in particular) and will immediately shy away from a host that doesn't offer the control panel they like.
