In shared hosting all the available resources must be shared with every accounts on the server which includes CPU, Memory and disk space. Here in this server you have to adjust with shared bandwidth, usage limits and limited admin features.

But on virtual private server memory and CPU time will be shared with remaining but portions of those resources are dedicated to each account. Due to this it allows more power and flexibility. Each user dedicated to own space on server so here security is much higher when compared with shared hosting.

Shared hosting is when your website is hosted on a web server along with other web sites, each having its own Internet domain name. Unless you require abnormally high amounts of bandwidth and disk space, shared hosting is probably the better option due to the lower cost compared to other options whereas virtual hosting is when your website is hosted on a server which is partitioned into multiple separate 'virtual' servers. Each partition acts as its own web server and can therefore, be managed separately from other partitions on the same server.

Multiple hosting accounts resides under single VPS is called Shared Hosting. Here you cannot control the server rather you will get details of your website control panel to manage your website hosting account.

VPS is the virtual private server where you will get control of whole server to manage. This is also called as cloud server or cloud vps.

    Hope this helps you!

Shared hosting is a way for hosting companies to put a large number of users on the same server. With a VPS, you receive all the power of dedicated hosting with the ability to have your own set of services and customizable disk space. VPS hosting is a Virtual Private Server and is a ritualized server. A VPS hosting environment mimics a dedicated server within a shared hosting environment. It is technically both shared hosting and dedicated hosting.

It is the same difference as between a dedicated server and usual shared hosting. With a VPS, you receive all the power of dedicated hosting with the ability to have your own set of services and customizable disk space.

Shared Hosting, you are sharing your server with hundreds or thousands of customers. With VPS, you are dedicated part of a server to you.

SHARED HOSTING-Web hosting is the service that allows the individual or the organization to post the website on the internet. The Web Hosting is the business that provides the technologies and services needed for the website to be viewed in the internet. In this websites are hosted, stored on the special computer that is called as the servers. When internet users want to view your website than they only type the address or the domain into the browser and hence, the website appears.

VPS HOSTING-The cloud servers(VPS) offers the great flexibility and reliability to their customers. Over the traditional options of shared or dedicated server. In some aspects the cloud services have been made for physical servers that are providing the functions which can be very different from other hosting aspects.

VPS is dedicated server which will give you many option and feature like you have your own PC( system ) to manage everything and do anything you want. but in shared hosting. there are some limitation :- you can't able to change any config file like, php.ini, php maxupload size and many more. you can able to handle bandwidth running process. But in VPS you can do anything you can better optimized you VPS to work more better. If you are beginner go with Shared hosting becouse it is very cheap or if you have good budget then go with VPS.

With A VPS hosting you have your own space and set of service on server where you can use your own control panel and perform any action. but with Share hosting you have limited administrative access and can't customized software configuration.

The biggest difference related to usage:
Shared hosting is more risky than vps server hosting. It can involve getting your website infected with virus, malware, hacking etc.
Vps ( virtual private server ) hosting involves assigning own space to each user & hence is more secure.

    Cool

    Hi

    Shared hosting:

A shared hosting is cheapest hosting type. There you share system resources with lots of neighbors, free system resources automatically helps busy websites but in return your website can go down because of load on other websites on your server.

    VPS hosting:

VPS hosting is also shared but allocated system resources are provided to every website separately, no one uses system resources of others including bandwidth. Webmasters can install their own softwares and tools because they get more control on server.

    Hope this helps you.
