You should contact your web hosting provider or pay the invoice they send you. Either way your hosting account will be renewed.

Login to your registered account, Check in your invoice section and select the unpaid invoice and proceed to pay. Select payment mode, pay the invoice amount. If you are paying it for the first time then take help of your hosting support team. Now you get 3-4 payment reminders for your service from provider. It will be easy for you to make the payment for valid invoice.

To renew the hosting service, you have to pay the service provider.

Either they will have option to prepaid for the service or you can just pay the invoice they generates for you.
If you have any doubts its better to contact your hosting provider support team.

Your hosting plan will automatically renew based on your selected billing cycle.

To ensure renewal, all you need to do is pay for the hosting starting when your invoice is created and within the 10 day grace period. If you have been with HostGator for more than 90 days, you may also overpay your invoice. The excess amount will be applied to your future invoices (just like paying in advance). You can renew the hosting service as per your need, All hosting service provider has their own billing cycles EX: monthly, Quarterly, semiannually and annually, you can choose any one of the billing cycle to pay the invoice of your hosting service. You must clarify this thing while subscribing the hosting service with providers.
