Bounce Rate is the percentage that were the only one of the session. Bounce Rate for a page is based only on sessions that start with that page.
bounce rate = total number of visitors who only view a single page/ total number of visitors who enter to that page x 100

If the visitor just visits the single page on site and did not access the other pages that time it is called bounce rate.

This might be case that visitor has bookmarked the link or means that contents on your website are engaging him and are quality contents.
He may have got the required information from home page only that is why he has not checked the other pages.

But as he did not accessed it more, it is consider as bounce. Bounce rate should always be low.

Bounce rate is the percentage of single page visits (or web sessions). It is the number of visits in which a person leaves your website from the landing page without browsing any further. Google analytics calculates and reports the bounce rate of a web page and bounce rate of a website.

Bounce rate is a measure of the viability of a site in urging guests to proceed with their visit.
It is communicated as a rate and speaks to the extent of visits that end on the primary page of the site that the guest sees.
Bounce rates can be utilized to help decide the viability or execution of a section page at producing the enthusiasm of guests.
A passage page with a low Bounce rate implies that the page viably motivations guests to see more pages and proceed further into the site.

We use bounce rate to analyse traffic. It represents the percentage of people who visit your site and leave without visiting another page.
