There are various CMS which you can use but it is depend on the type of website you are developing and it's scope. You will need to consider if you will need any payment gateway for it or not. WordPress, Joomla, Magento, Drupal are well known CMS.

You will get lots of option in WordPress to customize and manage, it is easy to handle. Joomla is quite complex. Magento is suggested for the e-commerce site and we can handle the e-payments using it easily.

Are you used all the CMS? Off course not. So according to you, it is WordPress because you used it, so how you can suggest it to someone if you really want to suggest it the other also mention the specification and what you love in it, why it is best? According to you it best just becuase it has more themes and plugins.
I think it depends on us what we want to be so we can select the CMS accordingly.

It is up to the user and the website he/she want so you can not say Wordpress is better because if you are building a large e-commerce website than Magento is best and WordPress is not able to handle the large Ecommerce website and there are some issues arises if you do it so you will experience it yourself.
Here, you start the new thread named Best CMS for Web Design but you post the two simple line about if you really want to suggest something to users by starting the new thread so you shoud post the complete information about it like, what it is? why it is best? for whom it is best? how you can use it? what plugins are the best? what make it differ from other?

If you answer to someone's question then it fine to post the two or three line answer.

There are a lot of content management systems out there, but many of them are overly complicated and require a certain level of technical expertise. However, there are a select few that focus on simplicity and ease-of-use, but still give the designer flexibility in templating features and customization. In this article, we have listed ten of these CMS’s. Some of them are well known, while others you may have never heard of, but deserve a look.

If you have a favorite CMS that we didn’t list here, let us know.Concrete5 is a free open source CMS that focuses on ease of use, which makes it great for designers. Some key features include a file manager with bulk upload, drag-n-drop layout editor, and an open marketplace of add-ons.

As per my, Wordpress is the best CMS to work with as themes allow you to change the design of your website quickly and Plugins allow you to extend the functionality of your WordPress site without knowing how to program.

It depends on what you are looking for when you say "best" CMS. Do you mean for you to work with? Or, do you mean for your clients? Chances are most clients are going to ask for WordPress in a CMS, although I have had a few ask for Joomla too. I personally prefer working in WordPress, just because I know it a lot better, but as a web designer, I think you need to familiarize yourself with all the popular CMS that client's you cater to may be looking for.

    Regards,
    Diana
