Introduction to VPS

I'm new to VPS so there are some questions that are a little confusing. People just say:
If you use VPS, you can create Cpanel to manage as Host?
How to Restore Database How to Backup from host on how? Is it the same as from Host to Host?

VPS is basically your own server which you will need to setup and manage from your end. You can host sites, manage databases, run backups , you can do everything what you would like to do on VPS. It's your own properly!

When you will setup the VPS with cPanel then definitely you can create and mange the cPanel account on it. For restoring the database, you will have your root access to server so you SSH to your server and can restore, backup the databases.

VPS service 90% will be same from host to host. You will need to manage and configure it from your end as VPS are un-managed.
