First of All, Go for Google Keyword Planner. Then Consider keywords chosen by your top three competitors. Make a list of important and relevant topic of your business and consider what you want to target. Research Related Search Terms and check a mix of head terms and long-tail keywords.

    1. Try to find common words, phrases people can use to search for your business. Make a list of those words.
    2. Check your competitor's website and look at the keywords, phrases they are using on their pages. Add those words to your list.
    3. Search on Google for different phrases, words you have collected. You will find related searches on the bottom of the SERPs. Add the words which are related to our business to the list.
    4. Login to Adwords Keyword Planner or any other keyword tool and search new keywords by entering the words, phrases you have collected. The tool will provide lots of keywords. Check the relevancy and choose proper keywords which can represent your business. You should also add long tail keywords on your list. Also, add monthly avg search volume beside all keywords.
    5. Login to keyword difficulty tool or keyword competition tool (from Moz or SmallSEOtools.com) and check the keyword's competitiveness. Choose the keywords which have less competition and high search volume for your business.

When you are going to choose a keyword for your website 1st you have analysis your competitor website that what they are targeting and is that your own targeted keywords. Then take that keyword on google keyword planner and get its monthly search average.
you can also choose a keyword from google suggested keyword, which you can get from google search result page on the bottom.

I would like to recommend just one thing if your website is new then don't do with high searches keyword start with long tail keywords which will also cover your short keywords and it will give you a fast result instead of the short high search keyword.
