Odoo and Magento both are opensource solutions.

    1. Magento is easy to deploy compare to Oddo. Because Magento is developed in PHP while Odoo is based on Python so you will need specialist for deploying Odoo.

    2. Magento can be easily hosted as every hosting provider supports PHP platform. To search provider for Odoo deployment is quite difficult task.

    3. Development and maintenance cost for Magento is less compare to Odoo as Magento can be easily installed and customized.

    4. Magentos has multi-language support.

    5. Mangento is more popular because of it's ease and effective interface. That is why it is attracting the market.

If you ask me, I prefer to use magento commerce software for my e-commerce web sites. I am with hostwinds.com team.
Their hosting is super fast due to their Litespeed server and SSD sotrage + fast processors.

I think Magento is better: Interesting content layout is only possible when you are dealing with a user-friendly WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor. Magento helps business users to modify web pages easily without playing with any code. For large companies, this means less technical reliability and more focus on creating user engaging content.

Magento would be more suitable for an established business with high demand to their e-commerce solution functionality. The highly developed ecosystem with thousands of apps along with a huge community of supporting specialists and developers makes Magento attractive for the far-reaching projects accounting on ultimate growth.

It depends on your need and if you see the comparison chart so Odoo is best but again the choice is yours. Both are Good but Odoo has more features than Magento. Here you can see the comparison

Many companies around are getting the best of both worlds. Many businesses are using Magento on the front end and Odoo at the back end given their strengths in the respective fields. That’s the route you can also take if you want the best of both worlds, though you will have to hire some to integrate Magento with odoo. In a market as saturated as the ecommerce platform market, it can be very difficult to figure out which shopping cart software best meets your needs. If you are considering starting your own store, then chances are you have already run into this struggle at some point. So far I have covered most popular ecommerce platform reviews as individual offers and created this comparison chart, then ranked all platforms after their SEO effectiveness, but now it's time to see how the different platforms compare to each other: Shopify, Bigcommerce, 3dcart, Volusion and Big Cartel.
