If your website is hacked I would suggest you to take below action as soon as possible -

    1. Please make your website offline as soon as possible to avoid the further loss.
    2. Once site will be off-line contact your web-host and ask them to find the malicious codes, scripts, IP addresses etc. which are hacked and contains the spam.
    3. If you or your web hosting provider has the backup of all data under your hosting service panel then ask them to check it for malicious contents, scan them with the latest antivirus.
    4. Once done then download the current contents on the site and upload new contents.
    5. Make sure to provide the correct ownership and permission to all files and directories.
    6. Reset the password to complex one for all the panel, databases, FTP users, email accounts etc.
    7. Patch the script and codes.
    8. Always make sure to update the applications/CMS which you have installed.

    Hello,

Do you have a clean backup ? If you don't know what to do you should delete your entire website and reinject your backup otherwise you might forget something and you will be hacked again.
In addition learn about security holes related to what you're using on your website.

Completely agree with what you have to say. But as mentioned by ikoula, its a great practice to check your own website's security holes and find out the real cause behind it.
