Made for Advertising or Made for AdSense is a term that is utilized, generally disparagingly, to depict sites that have little esteem other than attracting guests for the sole motivation behind tapping on ads.

Multifactor authentication (MFA) uses two or three of the above types. (If two, then it’s the same thing as 2FA.)

2FA and MFA are forms of strong authentication, but many security practitioners consider any authentication that doesn’t rely on SYK to be strong.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security system that verifies a user's identity by requiring multiple credentials. ... MFA is an effective way to provide enhanced security. Traditional usernames and passwords can be stolen, and they've become increasingly more vulnerable to brute force attacks.

Multi-factor authentication is an authentication method in which a computer user is granted access only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence to an authentication mechanism: knowledge, possession, and inherence. Two-factor authentication is a type, or subset, of multi-factor authentication.

Multi factor authentication (MFA) is used to ensure that digital users are who they say they are by requiring that they provide at least two pieces of evidence to prove their identity. Each piece of evidence must come from a different category: something they know, something they have or something they are.

MFA creates multiple layers of security to help increase the confidence that the user requesting access is actually who they claim to be. With MFA, a cybercriminal may steal one credential but will be thwarted by having to verify identity in a different manner.
