Bounce rate is the percentage of visitors to a particular website who navigate away from the site after viewing only one page. It can be reduced by:

    Good content update
    Internal links
    Easy navigation
    Quick loading of webpage

Pogo-sticking is defined as going back and forth from a search engine results page (SERP) to an individual search result destination site. In other words, pogo-sticking is when the searcher clicks on a link on a SERP, sees that it's not what she is looking for, and immediately bounces off by hitting the back button.

Pogo Sticking means going back and forth from a Search Engine Results Page to an individual search result. If a user is searching for something and he/she doesn't find what he/she is looking for, then, they hit the back button and go to another search result.

Although some people say that bounce Rate and Pogo Sticking are similar, but, that's not the case.

Bounce Rate is the percentage of visitors who navigate away from the site after viewing a single page.

Bounce rate should always be on the lower side. A higher bounce rate means that user is not satisfied with what he is looking for.

Make sure that you keep your users engaged on a page in order to reduce bounce rate.

Bounce rate is the level of guests to a specific site who explore far from the site in the wake of survey just a single page. Pogo-staying is characterized as backpedaling and forward from a web crawler comes about page (SERP) to an individual query item goal website. At the end of the day, pogo-staying is the point at which the searcher taps on a connection on a SERP, sees that it's not what she is searching for, and quickly skips off by hitting the back catch.

    Bounce Rate -

If the visitor just visits the single page on site and did not access the other pages that time it is called bounce rate.

This might be case that visitor has bookmarked the link or means that contents on your website are engaging him and are quality contents.
He may have got the required information from home page only that is why he has not checked the other pages.

But as he did not accessed it more, it is consider as bounce. Bounce rate should always be low.

    Pogo Sticking -

Pogo sticking is consider as the dangerous for site ranking.

Visitor just used click on search result and get back to previous searched query page because he is not satisfied with the contents on site. He just used to get back and forth to the search result.

Pogo sticking the negative impact on traffic and seo ranking.
