There are three types Meta tags in SEO.

1. Meta Title tag with 60 characters limits
2. Description Meta tag with 160 characters limits
3. Keyword Meta tag with 200 characters limits

meta title need at least 60 to 70 characters and meta description need 160 characters for search engine results because these meta tags appear in the Google results.
