When web sites link to each other, either directly or indirectly through a number of different pages, a search engine might consider those links to be reciprocal links. A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other's web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites. Reciprocal links can also help to increase traffic to your web site in two ways.

Reciprocal links are those that represent mutual exchange of links between two websites. Reciprocal links are not very useful as they are considered as link trades between websites.

Reciprocal links are used for adding the links between the co-related sites or articles or pages of the same site. This is useful as it provides the quick access to the articles.

The reciprocal link used to increase the visitors of the website as well search engine used to pick such sites for indexing. More hyperlinks increase the site rank. It is back-linking method of search engine optimization.

There are various reciprocal link directories, some are paid, some are free. You can choose as per your need.

To Build Reciprocal Link

1- Find GOOD QUALITY, complementary sites to exchage links with. For example a website designer should have reciprocal links with: printers, graphic designers, accountants/book keepers, photographers, copywriters, insurance brokers, etc. The idea being that if a new business needs a printer, then they'll need a website designer too.
2- Place a link to them on your site.
3- Only AFTER you've placed a link to them, email the owner of the site a short, friendly note. Address him or her by name. (If the name isn't on the site, you may be able to find it at Home | DomainTools.)
4- Genuinely praise something on the site. If you can't find something worth praising, delete the site from your list.
5- Tell the web site owner you've linked to their site, giving them the URL of the page where you've place your link.
6- Ask for a link back to your site, suggesting a page where the link would be appropriate.
7- Three weeks later, if there's been no reply, send a brief, polite reminder. It's easy for emails to be lost or overlooked.
8- Use the phone and/or snail mail. A link from a good site is a very valuable thing. If you can't get noticed by email, consider trying a phone call or posting a letter. They're more expensive but also more likely to attract the answer you want.
9- Keep an alphabetical record of sites you've linked to and requested links from. You need to know who you've contacted and who you haven't.

you should do on a separate page and maybe set it to noindex, that way you will not be sending out link juice to sites that are probably not relevant.
