Internal links are links in your website that points out to another page / link in your website, while inbound or external links are links from other website that points to a page / link in your website.

The topic on how to utilize these types of links properly is quite broad and debatable, though. But as a general rule of thumb, SEO-wise, it's good to have links pointing to your website on other websites that are relevant to your niche, but don't overdo this.

Hi

External links point from one domain to an entirely separate domain. They may be links from your website to another website to provide additional information for readers, or they may be links from your website to an affiliate program.

Internal links only point within your own specific website or domain. The menu bar at the top of your site includes internal links. Links from pages on your site to your contact page are another simple example of internal links.

Inbound links are those that point to your domain from external webpages. These links bring in traffic and help to rank your keywords higher in search engines. Internal links are those that point to internal pages of your website from the homepage.

Internal links are links that go from one page on a domain to a different page on the same domain. They are commonly used in main navigation.

An inbound link (also referred to as a back link) is a hyperlink on a third-party web page that points to a web page on your site.
