If you will copy the contents from one site on your website then those are the duplicate contents. Those contents will be partially match or fully match with the contents on the other site.

There are various online sites which used to check the duplicate contents. If you will find Plagiarism Checker, you will get the list of the various sites.. I am using CopyScape. Before uploading the contents, make sure those should pass the copyscape test. If you will copy the contents as it is from another site then there might be legal action on you. So make sure, you will not copy the contents from other sites.

Duplicate content is using same content in different places of the internet. Suppose you post a blog in a website then you post the same content in another website it is duplicate content. it is spammy activity; we should not do this as Google does not like it and if we do this regularly Goggle may penalize our website.

Hello

Duplicate content is a word that is used in the field of search engine optimization to describe the content displayed on more than one web page. Duplicate content can be substantial part of the content within the domain or of the entire content, and these can be either exactly the same as duplicate or proximity. [1] When multiple pages are essentially the same content, search engines like Google and Bing may penalize or pause to display the copy site in any relevant search results.

Hope it helps you
