I am not familiar with the tool but I would suggest you to contact the hosting provider for the migration. There will be migration of your data as well as DNS records. Because SquareSpace and Shopify both have their own DNS.

Please make sure to take the full backup of data before migration.

Steps to be followed are :

Register a Cart2Cart account.
Pick Squarespace as your Source cart, provide store’s URL and credentials;
Pick Shopify as your Target cart, provide store’s URL and API details;
Choose what entities you want to migrate.

Launch Full migration and wait for results.
