no - it's still important. It's just the focus has been directed away from it as too many people were on a quest for improving the pagerank (as a pose to improving the website for the visitors).

Yes. Page Rank is dead in SEO. Focus on DA and PA (Domain Authority and Page Authority) for quality check of the website.

Who told you that PR is still important? Google officially killed off Toolbar PageRank on March 7 2016.

google page rank is less important as compared to page authority and domain authority

Now just focus on Domain Authority instead of page rank because page rank is dead now.
