A friend of mine wants to set his son up with a site but doesn't want to spend much on it in case he doesn't like doing a website! Anyone know of a sub-$10 package that offers online site building?

Your friend may want to consider using a web template:http://hostbiztools.com/Categories/Web_Templates/

Check out site2you: http://hostbiztools.com/Categories/Website_Builder/

Their builder service sounds pretty cool - and free.

You should not find it too difficult to locate a hosting provider for under $10 but I do feel that an under $10 plan which also offers a site builder could be difficult, some providers may be willing to offer you a discounted deal, but you wont know until you contact them :)

Check out the offers section of the forum too as you tend to find plenty of hosts advertising specials. Also, if a host does not list whether it provides a site builder or not, ensure you ask them specifically, some may not advertise their site builder’s separately.

Hi David,
This would probably be better to post in the requests forum:

Ill just say it, even though he might have found your provider, but we will offer that with 30 gigs of transfer, and 5 gigs of space PLUS web builder for only 10$

Why don't you try to have a look at www.seekdotnet.com (http://www.seekdotnet.com). The starter plan only $4/month.

It should be relatively easy to find decent host offering site builder tools for around $10 per month. What OS is your friend looking for?

Since this post is from Sept. they've probably already found hosting by now.
