So long as “read” is enabled for “everyone”, you’re all good.

This file isn’t executed server-side.

If you’re using a CMS (like WordPress) and want to edit this thing from the web, you can also enable “write” for “owner” to make that work.

What permissions should Robots.txt have?

You provide SEO services in Bangkok. aren't you?
We don't expect such basic question from the SEO company.

Anyways provide a link to your site. I will check the robots file and let you know if it is okay or not!

robots.txt should have the same permissions as all of the rest of your files: Read for everyone; Write for owner; Edit for owner; Delete for owner.

First, robots.txt should always be lowercase.

Second, robots.txt should have the same permissions as all of the rest of your files: Read for everyone; Write for owner; Edit for owner; Delete for owner.
