How large is your Website and requirement?, if your requirement is more you can go for the Dedicated Servers, if you thinkthat you have moderate requirement that couldn't be handled by shared , go for VPS. If you list your requirements here, we will be able to guide you better :)

If your website will have large traffic I recommend dedicated server,it is stable for your own website.

This is a great question.
I think it depends a lot on you're website and the traffic they receive. Do you have any experience with running a server? Also what resources do you're websites need?

If the VPS is not sufficient to fulfill your requirement I think you should shift to dedicated server hosting, especially the managed one.

VPS is good over reseller any time it gives your more control.

A VPS is a Virtual Private Server. A VPS simulates having a dedicated server, but you are still sharing the server with other websites. You still have root access, but the actual hard drive in the server is split between several websites (clients). The benefit of root access is you have better control over your filesystem. Many programs will not run without root access. Some configurations/options can not be set up without root access. Shared Hosting companies are usually very strict about making such adjustments for clients. So a VPS would be a good fit for someone needing root access, but doesn't want to pay the full price for a dedicated server.

mSQL type: Standard Edition, Workgroup or Enterprise.
-Current db is: 15mb in mSQL 2005 SE
-db space requirements: Minimum 300MB, ability to upgrade in the future
Budget: up to $49.99/month
-50gig of bandwidth or so.. it is a new project.
-Remote access from in-house web server and/or other data centers.
-Ability to use my own LICENSE mSQL 2005 management console
-I control my own DNS and I simply want to create an A record to the hoster. It is ok if an IP is required.
-Great support if case of emergency.
-Multiple uplink providers
-Strong mSQL, .NET experience

Reseller Hosting is nothing more then a overvalued version of a shared hosting account.
But VPS is a virtual private environment, basically, where you are the captain of your own ship.
No matter what happens outside that ship, you will never be impacted.
So think yourself what is better.
