I want to open an e-commerce store but I am confused which platform should I go for? Any suggestions for the platform that is best for eCommerce store?

1) Magento

2) OpenCart

3) WooCommerce

4) Prestashop

5) Shopify

6) WordPress

I think WordPress would be better for me as it’s easy to manage but I am not sure whether it works for me. I have no knowledge of other platforms. Also, I want a hosting provider for my online store. I have gone through several of the hosting providers. Suggest me the best hosting provider as well.

My vote goes to Magento commerce hosting.
I can draw your attention to Hostforweb.com (http://www.Hostforweb.com) and Centohost.com (http://www.Centohost.com) web hosts.
They are optimized for application hosting and provide more security, reliability and speed than traditional web hosts.

There is good and bad about every platform. With Magento, you need a team of developers. WooCommerce is free but you may need extra investment to add cart option to your site. Wordpress is a good option.

The eCommerce store development process requires a platform based on which the store can get the features, functionalities, security, framework and other aspects. The market offers a number of platforms such as WordPress, Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, OpenCart, Joomla with each having its own advantages. However, Magento can arguably make the cut as the best for the following reasons.

-Faster loading due to the presence of Varnish Cache and better customization with about 9000 plugins.
-Optimized for mobile.
-The presence of a ‘pub’ directory making is highly secured.
-SEO friendly features such as layered navigation, URL rewrites, sitemaps, and social media extensions to name a few.

There are multiple options for you to choose from when it comes to eCommerce. However if you're running Wordpress, the best option by far is WooCommerce.

Starting eCommerce is way easier with platforms like Shopify and BigCommerce but the downside of these platforms is that you're renting a space on a third-party platform where you have a little control over managing your website. To be straight, you don't own your store with these platforms. However it's easy to set up your store but these platforms can shut down your store if they think you're violating their terms of service.

WooCommerce is a more elegant solution that you can install onto your self-hosted website. You will have complete control over every aspect of your online store.

If you want an affordable yet quality host i'll recommend you to try AEserver managed WordPress hosting plan. the number one reason to use AEserver is their tech support. you'll be satisfied with the speed, performance, the ease of use of their dashboard and their service.
