How to prepare Pie Chart in Google Doc?

Hi Friends,

Is their any way to create pie chart in Google Doc just like we create in Microsoft Excel? I am looking forward to prepare a Annual SEO report and for the graphical presentation of the data I have to insert pie chart in the PPT.

You have to use drag & drop SEO tools to design pie chart in Google docs.

1. Open Google Docs and open your spreadsheet. Select the cells containing the pie chart data.



2. Click the “Insert” menu and then click “Chart…” to open the Chart Editor window.


3. Click the “Charts” tab and click “Pie.”



4. Select the pie chart style you want from the list of chart templates.



5. Click the “Customize” tab to further modify the pie chart’s look and feel. Enter text into the “Title” input box to add a title to the chart; select font size and style for the title, legend and chart text using the applicable menus. You can also change the color of the pie chart slices by selecting the slide in the “Slices” menu and clicking a new color in the color palette.


6. Click the “Insert” button at the bottom left corner of the Chart Editor window to add it to the spreadsheet.



7. Drag and drop the pie chart to the desired placement on the spreadsheet. Resize the pie chart by hovering the mouse cursor over the edge of the chart border and dragging the border outwards until it is the size you want.
