Redirect HTTP to HTTPS automatically. Once you install an SSL certificate on your website, you need to redirect your visitors to the secured (HTTPS) version of your site. Choose the hosting scenario for your website: Redirect my website to HTTPS in cPanel/Linux.

If you already install and enable the SSL certificate then go to the Hosting website and get the 301 redirection code for http to https and update in .htaccess file.

Chrome and Firefox have started giving insecure information on sites without SSL certificates. Without SSL, your website will display unsafe to the guests. Therefore, using an SSL-encrypted connection for security, accessibility or PCI compliance reasons is necessary. It becomes really important to redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.

To redirect your site from HTTP to HTTPS, first, you have to purchase SSL certification for your website! After that you can change your site from HTTP -> HTTPS!

Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is the secure version of HTTP, the protocol over which data is sent between your browser and the website that you are connected to. The 'S' at the end of HTTPS stands for 'Secure'. It means all communications between your browser and the website are encrypted.
