To attract the right visitors to your Web site, you need to use keyword phrases instead of just single keywords. This helps search engines match users to results that are more relevant to them. Just like a keyword is a single word used as a search query, a keyword phrase is two or more words typed as a search query.

A keyword means one single word. When the first search engines were launched, they had relatively simple algorithms and many users used single words for their searches.

keyword phrase means a set of separate words that build a phrase (so it’s a multi-word search term). If it is really necessary to distinguish between a single word and a phrase, these terms are used in their initial strict meaning.

Your objective should be to rank on maximum key phrases for your website not just single keywords. As soon as you will start ranking on maximum phrases Google will automatically start showing your website for your targeted keywords.

Within SEO, a keyword is a single search word. Examples: “cleaners” or “maids”.

A keyword phrase refers to a combination of words. Because they are longer, they tend to be more specific and descriptive. Instead of “maids”, a keyword phrase would be “maids in DC”, “Airbnb cleaners”, or “best house maids in Tampa”.

When implementing an SEO strategy, it is important to target both keywords and keyword phrases. Single keywords tend to be more competitive and most searches, in fact, use keyword phrases.

Keyword and key phrase (keyword phrase) are the two main parts for any blog or article.
Keyword is just putting a single word that needs to create better understanding and catchy to the readers.
Keyword phrases consist of adding many keywords that are developed for making a context view understandable to the users.
But at times a keyword plays more powerful role than the keyword phrases as these single words matter the most that sometimes brings worth tracking and optimizing to the content.
