There are few codes to verify the Website in Google Webmaster tool. Mostly I verified Websites through HTML tag. Its a single line code to paste it in Website Code between the header file.

There are many methods to verify a website in Google Webmaster. I personally prefer "Upload an HTML file" method.

No need to ask such questions in forums, you already know it is not that difficult and Google guides you how to do it once you start

Although it varies, it seems to take as little as 4 days and up to 6 months for a site to be crawled by Google and attribute authority to the domain. When you publish a new blog post, site page, or website in general, there are many factors that determine how quickly it will be indexed by Google.

1. Sign in to Google Search Console
Go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/, sign in, or create a new account. Then, click on "Add a site", and enter the URL of your Jimdo site.

2. Get the <meta> tag
Click the Alternate Method tab and then select HTML Tag in the options. Now all you have to do is copy the meta tag from Google webmaster tools, which may look something like this:

<meta name="google-site-verification" content="asdf543563234_w234234dkljad" />

3. Add the <meta> tag to your site
Open the Menu and navigate to Settings > Website > Edit Head. Paste the meta tag from Google into the Head section, save everything, and you're done!
