On-page SEO refers to factors on your own website that you can optimize such as the underlying code and the content.
Off-page SEO refers to actions taken to affect your site’s trustworthiness and authority by building the right inbound links and social signals.

Difference between on page and off the page is optimizing websites withing page is on the page and outside the page of the page.

What you do on your website pages or web blog pages for Search Engine Optimization is known as On-Page SEO. Again, what you do on others' website's pages for SEO is called Off-Page SEO. The major difference is that SEO activities on your pages and SEO activities off your pages.

SEO Activities on your pages include title optimization, ulr optimization, image optimization, meta description, meta tag, keyword density, using LSI keywords, internal linking, etc. While SEO activities off your pages may contain blog commenting, forum posting, guest blogging, social media positing, video uploading, slides sharing, social book marking, and so on.

On Page:- The task perform with the webpage to correct the website structure according to SEO such as Meta Tags, Heading Tags, Image ALT Text etc.

Off Page:- The task perform that doesn't have any interaction with the website itself such as Social Media Activity, Forum Posting, Guest Blog etc.
