Online PR incorporates journalism, creative writing and story-telling, sales, media, SEO, social media, community management, customer relations, web design and on and on. Online PR efforts can have media or influencer outlets but can also be seen directly by potential customers or the consumer market.

Depends on the kind of business. Getting an MBA would be best, but Business Management or Finance or, maybe, Economics, would all be good choices.

I did only Financial PR for 15 years on Wall Street, before broadening out to other disciplines. A Finance degree would have made the learning process a heck of a lot easier than what I did...which was getting screamed at by traders over and over until I figured it all out!
