A snippet is a result Google shows to the user in the search results. An example: I was searching for a good recipe for homemade ice cream and googled it. Google showed me a results list with normal snippets and rich snippets. A normal snippet usually looks like this:

To get in Google Rich answer box our website should have good content on it, the site should have authority, the website can use schema (not necessary, but recommended) and website should be on 1 page.

Google's rich answer box is a relatively new feature that provides searchers with direct answers to their questions at the top of the search page. When the search engine finds an answer to the question, it will feature a snippet of the website's page at the very top of the search results page.

While typing question directly in the Google and Google displaying query of the results in the top snippet that is called as Rich Answer Box. For that company which is showing in the rich answer box that should have to be good content.
