Mark all crawl errors as fixed.
Go back to your report once a week.
Fix 404 errors by redirecting false URLs or changing your internal links and sitemap entries.
Try to avoid server errors and ask your developer and server host for help.
Deal with the other types of errors and use Google's resources for help.

This may seem like a stupid piece of advice at first, but it will actually help you tackle your crawl errors in a more structured way. When you first look at your crawl errors report, you might see hundreds and thousands of crawl errors from way back when. It will be very hard for you to find your way through these long lists of errors.

Remove the login from pages that you want Google to crawl, whether it's an in-page or popup login prompt.
Check your robots.txt file to ensure the pages listed on there are meant to be blocked from crawling and indexing.

URL errors are errors that are specific to a particular page. This means that when Googlebot tried to crawl the URL, it was able to resolve your DNS, connect to your server, fetch and read your robots.txt file, and then request this URL,

Site errors. You don’t want these, as they mean your entire site can’t be crawled.
URL errors. You don’t want these either, but since they only relate to one specific URL per error, they are easier to maintain and fix.
