Google’s Mobile First Indexing is live from this month (March 2018). Initially, Google has planned to move all the sites to mobile first indexing in the starting of 2018, as the development of the indexing stage and shift preparatory steps were not completed, there is a delay in this process but now it is live.

As the number of mobile-searchers continues to grow and further surpass the number of desktop users, Google has decided it’s time for some change. Google realized that it makes more sense to prioritize this large base of mobile users and provide them with the best possible search results.

Google allows websites and its content for indexing and crawling for the mobile version, means it Google supports mobile versions for ranking and makes website mobile-friendly, it is why because billions of users querries are coming to Google from mobile.
