1. You Can Lose a Huge Impression Share (IS) with Automated Bids
2. Bad Targets Are Just as Bad as Bad Bids
3. Changing Bid Aggressiveness Works Differently for tCPA & tROAS
4. Having One Target ROAS Is Not Enough

Automated bidding can be helpful, especially in larger accounts where bid changes might need to be made quickly. There are third-party systems like Acquisio and Marin, or in the interfaces themselves, like Google's smart bidding strategies. Manual bidding also has its advantages.

I may be biased…but Fospha!

We have worked with leading bid management platforms, like Kenshoo, to integrate with our Customer Data Platform. What does this look like?

We use our Customer Data Platform to integrate all of your data silos, providing you with a granular single customer view.
From here, our proprietary data-driven attribution model is used to determine the real value of each keyword - that is, how they contribute to a customer conversion. This modelling provides our clients with an in-depth understanding of which keywords they are over or under investing in.

As much as our team wants to take credit for being brilliant with our manual bidding strategies beating Google in our early automated bidding tests, we knew that Google was working more and more towards automation.
