Face Filters and Animation is opening doors for advertisers to try hands on AR ads too.
To help more businesses take advantage of this opportunity, Facebook is expanding AR ads to more advertisers. An open beta for AR ads will be available globally this fall.

Are you going to try it?

AR will become more and more popular in the future. The company I work for Gamewheel wrote a very interesting article about the future of VR and AR. You should definitely read this article. The main conclusion is that AR (and not VR) will be the real game changer in the tech industry. A big question for marketeers is how to advertise on these new platforms. I think ad games (if done correctly) are a really great way to engage and encourage audience to connect with your brand through VR and AR technology. This is because ad games have already proven to be highly effective on mobile devices. They increase engagement x8 and decrease your CPC by 70%. There are a lot of good tools around in which you can create ad games. A very good and easy to use one is Gamewheel.
