There are two kinds of computer graphics - raster (composed of pixels) and vector (composed of paths). Raster images are more commonly called bitmap images.

there are basic two type of image
1) bitmap image:-
- bitmap image is also called Raster images. bitmap is made up of pixels or bits (binary digits) of information arranged on a grid. Each bit can be visualized as a dot. bitmap Resolution is Low
2) Vector image: vector is created using line work. In technical terms, you use points, lines, curves and shapes to create the illustration. Resolution is High
