Hi Friends,
In the end my experience with both WordPress and CodeIgniter has led me to believe the best choice depends on your clients needs. WordPress is slow. Too slow for enterprise level websites out of the box. It is perfect for low to medium traffic web sites and keeps build costs low initially.
