I want to know the difference between Unix Hosting And Windows Hosting.

Linux is free and windows is paid and linux can do 95% what windows can do
A lot of it has to do with the type of scripts you can run on each. And how it behaves. Permissions can run differently as well. I usually say if you are going to run PHP pages go linux, if you want ASP go Windows. If its just html pages doesnt matter, go with price

If you want to run php script you should use linux hosting and if you want to run asp script you should use windows hosing.I think linux hosing's security is better than windows hosting,IMO.

If you are unsure, stick with Unix/Linux. Windows is recommend only if you want to run asp.net

I agree, I would stick with Linux is you are unsure - because of the much larger support and user base.
