To insert a link, use the <a> tag with the href attribute to indicate the address of the target page. Example: <a href="http://www.google.com"> . You can make a link to another page in your website simply by writing the file name: <a href="page2. html">

HTML links are hyperlinks.
You can click on a link and jump to another document.
When you move the mouse over a link, the mouse arrow will turn into a little hand.

Hi Friends,
There are links in html which basically serve the purpose of navigating from one page to another web page. Now these links can be used with many things:
Image— If you want the user to go to the next page on clicking the image.For ex in Flipkart if we click on product image we are taken to the product detail page.
Text— If we want the user to navigate on clicking a text. For ex “Click here” type of ads in mp3 song downloading site.
Buttons
Almost all tags allowed by HTML
<a href=” The page you want user to visit”> The text you want the user to see </a>
