CTR stands for Click-through Rate. It's a metric that usually measures the number of clicks received on a page or a post divided by the number of impressions generated.

Average Position: The average ranking of your website URLs for the query or queries. For example, if your site's URL appeared at position 3 for one query and position 7 for another query, the average position would be 5 ((3+7)/2). CTR: Click-through rate, calculated as Clicks / Impressions * 100.

The CTR figures will now be displayed in the bottom right corner, as illustrated above. The report lists search queries and their respective CTRs, sorted by search popularity. Look at the CTRs of your most important keywords. if you see numbers like 10% or 20%, there's clearly room for improvement.

CTR is a click through rate. Total number of clicks divided by total number of impressions. Average CTR for Google and Facebook differs. Generally, in Facebook CTR won't be considered. So I tell you briefly about Google adwords.

In Google adwords, good CTR is 3-4%. If it is Below 3%, you have to optimize it for better performance.

Increase individual keyword bidding whichever performing well to get more number of clicks.

Pause the keywords which is not performing well.

Relevancy matters most. So have a look at negative keywords too by seeing search term results in a week.

The Search Console reports in Analytics use four metrics specific to Google Web Search data: Impressions: The number of times any URL from your site appeared in search results viewed by a user, not including paid Google Ads search impressions. ... CTR: Click-through rate, calculated as Clicks / Impressions * 100.
