Hi Friend,
While the quality raters do not have a direct impact on the rankings of the sites they rate, it shows the types of sites Google wants to be ranking, so it is definitely a measured risk to disable comments. Comments are also great for showing how popular a site is.

The simple answer is no. I think it may affect the algorithm. It won't. Comments are irrelevant as they can be turned off by the channel owner or disabled by YT, the same way the like/dislike ratio and tags are also irrelevant to the algorithm.

It may not effect the algorithm but it do bring some relevant traffic to your website. That ultimately make your website popular.
