Hi Friends,
Cross-linking is when different websites post links to each other to help share each others users. Sometimes this makes logical sense, as when the two sites share a common or related interest, and then it is helpful to the users as well as they find out about something they will likely be interested in. Other times, when the sites are not related, it makes no sense, usually is ignored by users, and therefore has poor results.

Cross linking refers to the process of linking between two sites. Whether or not they are owned by the same person, cross linking is the process on which the internet is built. It allows users to reference sites with content similar to that which they are already viewing, and may be of further interest to them.
