hello VanessaJacobs,
Yes it will impact in your SEO when large amount of people share and like it. Generally search engine especially Google consider it as a public importance. So if your page got hit by public then you will be ranked on the first page within 3–4 days.
So i suggest you share it every where you can. But remember one thing that Traffic from Social Media like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. are considered as valid. If your traffic is mainly from Messengers then be alert. Because it may negatively impact your SEO rankings.
The positive impact on social media
Improve Self-Confidence.
Source of Learning and Teaching. Social media is serving as a gateway for exchanging information.
Saves Time.
Amazing Platform to Showcase Talent.
But if your post gain lower audience or if ignorable shares and likes then it will not impact your website's SEO.

Even though social media signals don't have a direct impact on search rankings, they affect your search engine optimization efforts in primarily four ways: Increased online visibility and traffic to your website. Increased authority and brand recognition. Broader content distribution and longer content lifespan.

As for the indirect impacts, social media can affect SEO by allowing you to put old or new content in front of people to boost engagement, visibility and lifespan. Facebook is used by a majority of its users to find new content to read, making it a great tool for spreading content to potential readers.
