What is "status-not found" in fetch as Google in the Webmaster tool?

If you are getting such problem then you can immediately click on “Crawl Errors” just above the crawl status & fetch as google.

This is a crawl error which can be cause by following reasons -

You might have deleted pages knowingly or unknowingly.
You have change the pages link.
Google did not crawl properly
It can happen because of server errors
It can happen because of robot.txt failures

How to fix it-

Make a list of not found URL
Decide on which URL you want to redirect to which active page.
Download a plugin in your WordPress website called redirection
And one by one direct your not found links to active pages
For examples if you homepage URL showing not found then redirect it to current home page.

If you are getting an error of "Status Not Found". This is a crawl error.

It can be caused by the following reasons -

- There might be a server issue.
- You might have deleted pages knowingly or unknowingly.
- If the links of the page are changed.
- Google did not index your website properly and more.
