Hi Friends,
Clickbait is web content where the goal is to have the reader view not necessarily the content, but advertisements and offers. The user is drawn to the website with dramatic titles in the hope they will click. The web is advertisement driven and legitimate sites provide content, with ads.

Taboola, Outbrain, Revcontent, and Zergnet are said to be very active content discovery platforms. Who uses them to develop and field click bait content has never been anything I’ve worried about. They are just businesses and if they annoy ignore them.

Clickbait, a form of false advertisement, uses hyperlink text or a thumbnail link that is designed to attract attention and to entice users to follow that link and read, view, or listen to the linked piece of online content, with a defining characteristic of being deceptive, typically sensationalized or misleading.
