An ecommerce payment gateway (https://avada.io/resources/best-payment-gateways.html)is responsible for all transactions of the store.
All you need to do is to enter the details of your credit card on the payment gateway page and make the purchase. The payment gateway will deduct the amount from your credit card and send it to the dropshipper’s bank account after deducting some fees. The dropshipper can then transfer this to his/her bank account.
In case you are running an ecommerce business, I think you should consider these:
PayPal
Stripe
2Checkout
Authorize.net
Skrill
Wepay
Google Checkout
Apply Pay

I like having options for fiat and crypto currencies so paypal and bitpay are my 2 go to gateways. For cryptocurrencies, I also like EzDefi payment gateway.

I have heard of BitPay, Coinbase, and Coinpayments, but never heard of ezdefi. Is it a credible payment gateway or a scam? Online security is floppy these days. People might end up losing private keys to some blackhats or worse, their private information.

You must try Bitpay. Or EzDeFi is also a good option for cryptocurrencies.

What is the Best Payment Methods in eCommerce ?
As i see in eCommerce sites they change payment according to currency or country for example if some one want to buy products from your site in USA then Paypal or Payoneer is best ..... But if some one want to buy product in India then PayUMoney, PayTM or Wallet payment, net banking is good. For example you can see amazon.
I think Paypal and Payoneer is best for ecommerce site because both are support about all countries for payment.

Hi there,
Similar to the number of eCommerce websites in the market, there was a scarcity in the number of online payment gateway providers anyone could opt for earlier. Thankfully, that isn’t the case anymore.
Setting up online payment methods for products and services is no longer a challenge for eCommerce businesses.

I see it's been a while since this was last discussed, but things have changed a lot in online payments. With digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay becoming more common, do you think they’re now a must-have for eCommerce stores? Also, with more people using cryptocurrency, have any of you seen businesses successfully offering it as a payment option, or is it still too niche for most industries?

Crypto payments are getting more popular, especially for international transactions. I've found that using platforms like ownersclubfx.com (https://ownersclubfx.com) makes it easier to handle payments without dealing with bank restrictions or high fees. It’s a good option if you're looking for fast and secure transactions. Plus, crypto payments offer better privacy, which some customers appreciate. If you're expanding globally, this could be a solid alternative to traditional payment methods.

I see it's been a while since this was last discussed, but things have changed a lot in online payments. With digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay becoming more common, do you think they’re now a must-have for eCommerce stores? Choosing a futures trading platform white label (https://merehead.com/blog/white-label-futures-trading-platform/) solution allows you to quickly enter the crypto market with a fully functional exchange. It provides scalability, security, and customization to match your business strategy. Also, with more people using cryptocurrency, have any of you seen businesses successfully offering it as a payment option, or is it still too niche for most industries?
Oh yeah, digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay are pretty much a must-have for eCommerce stores now. People expect fast, frictionless checkouts, and mobile shopping is bigger than ever. If an online store doesn’t support these payment methods, it’s basically adding unnecessary steps that could lead to abandoned carts. Plus, Apple Pay and Google Pay come with built-in security features like tokenization, making them safer and more appealing for customers.

The best payment methods in eCommerce are those that offer speed, security, and convenience—like credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and now even crypto. I’d also recommend checking out invest information on here https://rates.fm/invest/ —I found helpful info there on where payment trends and currency values might be heading, which can guide smarter eCommerce decisions too.

eCommerce platforms should integrate digital wallets to stay competitive and reduce cart abandonment rates

The three most popular payment methods are card payments (credit or debit card), bank transfers (directly between bank accounts), and digital wallets.

Choosing the best payment methods in eCommerce is essential for conversion and trust. I’d also recommend looking into specialized options like igaming payment solutions by Tranzzo https://tranzzo.com/igaming They offer a reliable and secure system tailored for gaming platforms. They are fast, compliant, and support a wide range of payment methods globally.

The best payment methods in eCommerce offer security, convenience, and wide user acceptance. Popular options include credit/debit cards, PayPal, and digital wallets like Apple Pay and Google Pay. For global reach, Stripe, Square, and Razorpay are reliable. Offering Cash on Delivery can also attract local buyers. Choose methods based on your target audience, region, and transaction volume. Multiple payment options improve customer satisfaction and reduce cart abandonment, making them essential for eCommerce success.
