Orphan pages are the ones that are not linked to by any other subpage on your entire website. This means that they’re basically impossible to find by a regular user. They are almost impossible to crawl by search engines as well so they won’t provide any SEO value for your site.

Orphan pages are website pages that are not linked to from any another section of your site. This means a user does not know where to go next for more information because your page isn't linked to more of your site. These pages aren't indexed and cannot be found by search engine crawlers.

Find old URLs that may be contributing to index bloat issues.
Highlight any URLs that may have a low number of internal links pointing to them.
Remove old pages from your site that have had their internal links removed, but still exist on the site.

The technical term 'Orphan pages' describes URLs or sub-pages that cannot be found by internal linking, since they are not linked at all. These URLs that are not linked internally 'float' in the URL set of a domain without being found by a standardised web crawl.
